From the intersection of Griffin Road and University Drive:

Go west on Griffin Road until you reach Pine Island Road.

Turn RIGHT (north) and go 7/10 of a mile to a break in the road where you can make a left turn.

Make a U turn at the break.

Now go SOUTH 1/10 of a mile to your first right.  You are turning into the Banford Sports complex.

Make another right to go into the parking lot of the Pine Island Park Multi Purpose Facility.
